The YouthYack.com team is made up of Coachella Valley teens in grades 9 - 12, representing every Coachella Valley school district, working together to build a business.

Once a student is involved in the YouthYack.com team, they select an area of interest to specialize in, gaining work experience and developing the skills necessary to build and run a Web site.

The site is entirely developed and run by students, with members of the business community and school district acting as mentors.

The site itself is a vehicle that provides students throughout the valley with information and a creative outlet about activities and programs in which they can participate, as well as a means to communicate with other students in the valley.
