History: Alex Tasso is the 21-year-old nephew of former president of Atlantic Records, Jerry Greenberg, who is responsible for signing such acts as ABBA, Foreigner, and countless others! Tasso began writings lyrics and music at the age of 9, with influences ranging from Michael Jackson to Styx, AC/DC to Fishbone, and so on and so forth. Alex's musical stylings range throughout a vast majority of genres, which makes his sound so unique. Songs like "What Would It Take?" and "No One But You" reflect on matters that hit close to the heart, and touch the lives of those who lend their ears towards the smooth melodies. Tasso is most notably known as Cannibal Scene's 2002 Vocalist of the Year for the 2002 Metal Band of the Year, Barbed Wire Noose. Tasso started a solo side project to expand his musical horizons.
Can be seen: Alex can be seen everywhere! Although he tries not to play many gigs at the moment so he can focus on a studio recording, he is always seen leisurely strolling through The River, Westfield Shoppingtown Palm Desert, and Downtown Palm Springs. Every Thursday night, he can be seen at the Palm Springs Villagefest.
CD Information: Alex plans to release a CD before the end of 2003, entitled "E.P.I.C." which stands for "Everything's Perfect In Contrast." Rumors are circulating over Ebin Barnett as being producer.
